The 10MW BESS will be strategically located in SE3, helping to stabilize the grid by providing ancillary and balancing services across frequency markets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to deliver this project to our customer,\u201d said Magnus H\u00e4ggstr\u00f6m, Chief Commercial Officer at Helios Nordic Energy. \u201cBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are vital in Sweden for stabilizing the grid, storing excess renewable energy, and ensuring a reliable power supply. To fully support the country&#8217;s transition to clean energy and meet climate goals, more batteries are needed.
