Grand opening of our first solar park, Kungsåra

Yesterday (20231025) we inaugurated our first solar park Kungsåra (about 1,5 mile south of Västerås). Kungsåra is currently Sweden´s largest solar park. Sweden´s climate and environment minister Romina Pourmokihtari who was present and gave an inspiring speech, had the honor of cutting the ribbon. Also present were Madeleine van der Veer, spokesperson for the Network for solar parks, the solar park´s German investors Commerze Real (Gerd Johansen and Andreas Köhler), landowners, Magnora ASA´s CEO Erik Sneve and Malin Strand from Fossilfritt Sweden and of course our CEO Andreas Tunbjer with all the Helios team. We thank everyone who was there and made the opening such a success, as well as everyone who was involved and contributed to this fantastic solar park which will deliver close to 22MW of green electricity to Sweden´s electricity grid.
